How To Make Windows Run Faster

Its a very common problem that the computer slows down within a few weeks after Windows tips & trickspurchasing it or after formatting. Then again we start thinking of formatting it. But this problem can be resolved without formatting your PC again and again. You have to take care about just a few things. Here are some steps given to you , which you have to follow, when ever you feel that your PC is slowing down:--

Just You Need To Do Is:--

  1. Backup your files
    1. Backup any files you want to keep. The easiest way to do this is to copy your entire profile folder (C:\Documents and Settings\username) to a CD/DVD, iPod, USB flash drive, or external hard drive. This folder contains all of your files and settings.
  2. Create a new user account and delete the old one
    1. Open the Control Panel and select "User Accounts"
    2. Create a new user account
    3. Log out of your old account and into the new account
    4. Repeat Step 1 and delete your old account - make sure to select "Delete Files"
  3. Uninstall any unused programs
    1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
  4. Clean up and optimize your hard drive
    1. Run Disk Cleanup (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup)
    2. Run Disk Defragmenter (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Defragmenter)
  5. Increase Widows Memory Performance
    1. Open the Control Panel and select "System"
    2. Select "Advanced-> Perform -> Select the 3rd option (Increase perform)"

Tips:-

  • It is best to reinstall Windows, because it will erase everything on your computer and return it to factory condition. If you don't want to do this, follow the steps above.
  • If you don't want your files to be recovered, use a file wipe utility or overwrite the data with as many files as possible (such as music).
  • The safest option is to purchase a new hard drive and destroy the old one. You will then have to reinstall Windows.

How To Improve Your Personality----

Friends, In this world a man of average personality is always looked down by the others. Even when you go to get a job in a MNC the first requirement of the company would be that the candidate must have a good personality. So, good personality not only leaves a good impression on others, but it is a essential part of one's life in this world. So, those who are struggling to have a good personality can read this post. I Hope this will certainly help you a lot.

1. SET AN AIM IN LIFE:-

If you sit in the boat of life without knowing your destination you will become the slave of circumstances and other people. Your progress or development will totally depend on your luck. The wind of circumstances will push the boat to any direction - you won’t have any control on anything. And you will rarely be able to make things happen. You may even be crushed by the competition forced upon you by other people. To change this scenario you need to set an aim for your life. It is true that a person has several aims in life but to decide about chief aim is essential to make good progress. When you have an aim it is like a destination - you can chart your route, plan your action and formulate strategies to reach their at a speed. The personality of such a person automatically get a sort of charisma - developed by his driving force.

2. POWER OF KNOWLEDGE:-

Knowledge is power. Nobody is impressed with a person who doesn’t even know what is happening around or in the world. He is considered a fool whom no wise man or woman would like to befriend or follow. Therefore it is necessary to enrich your general knowledge. And you should be the master of the field in which you are working. To update your general knowledge: a) read newspaper, b) watch informative programs on TV, c) read good & popular books, d) interact (interrelate, communicate) with intelligent persons.

3. LOOK CONFIDENT:-

A look of confidence on your face impresses everybody. If you walk with a feeling of failure and frustration on your face people will shun away from you. Even if you are facing difficulties and worries in your life you must know how to think and look positive. Shake hands with others firmly. While shaking hands or talking make an eye contact with others. Speak less and with conviction. Such simple actions will maintain your confidence. Your self-confidence can not only conquer the mountains of difficulties but also the interview boards.

4. SPEAK IN STYLE:-

Most of the successful persons maintain a unique style in speaking. They speak clearly and forcefully. Be careful that you have a good command on the language you speak. Don’t make grammatical mistakes else you may become a laughing stock. If necessary take training from a good teacher. Give extra care to your pronunciation. Speaking power is an essential trait of any good personality.

5. DRESS UP SMARTLY:-

A smartly dressed-up person is admired everywhere. By observing successful people in any field, marketing, business, movies, media etc., you will come to the conclusion that most of the successful persons in almost every field have a keen taste for good dresses. Good dresses also prove a stimulus for the wearer. He feels more confident and relaxed. There is a joyful glow on his face. His handshake is more confident. A bad dress always invokes inferiority complex. No good company hires a shabbily dressed person today.

6.A HEALTHY BODY:-

A body burdened with this or that disease may win pity of others but it is very difficulty for that person to maintain attraction in his personality for a long time. A healthy and smart look is absolutely essential to attract others. And if you work on it you can easily attain it. Take exercise regularly, play games or go for a morning walk - whatever suits your body and psychology. Eat balanced diet. It will strengthen the immune system of your body - keeping you healthy and fit for action.

7. GOOD HABITS:-

A man is generally a creature of his habits. With bad habits you may become a sheer nuisance for others. Then how will you impress them? Cleanliness, punctuality, completing your works on time, fulfilling your promises, having sincerity and dedication to work, listening others properly, keeping yourself away from smoking and drinking - are the habits which add sparkle and dynamism to your personality. They endear you to the people. You should also be friendly and polite while dealing with others. You won’t be able to impress the people with an attitude of arrogance. If people feel uncomfortable in your presence it is a sign that you need to improve your behaviour. Others must feel easy while approaching or talking to you.

8. Mind your volume:-

Speaking too loud or too low is considered as a sign of a weak personality. When you want to convey a point, do so in a pleasant tone and comfortable volume. Remember that just because you shout, it doesn't guaratee that you are listened to. Also, when you talk too low that others have to strain themselves to catch your words, people quickly lose interest.

9. Mind your laugh:-

A loud, boisterous laugh is a sure-fire way to annoy people. It is considered impolite and a sign of poor manners. Also, covering your mouth when you laugh is a big no-no. So develop a warm, friendly and appreciative laugh.

10. Do not interrupt:-

When someone is talking about something, do not interrupt it with a 'wonderful' story of your own (think "Oh, something like that happened to me too!"). Always make it a point to let the other person finish. This can be accomplished with some practice.

11. Do not assume:-

Some people have a tendency to finish others' sentences for them. I used to get impatient with slow talkers and finish their sentences with them when it seemed that they took too much time or effort. It took a conscious effort on my part to change it, and it has really benefitted me. Do not assume you know what they are going to say. The couple of seconds you wait for someone to finish their sentences will gain you a lot of good will.

12. Do not tune out:-

People have a tendency to tune themselves out of conversations that do not interest them. This will cause their minds to wander on their own little world, and they will lose hold of what is being said. In most cases, the person talking to you will instinctively know that you are not listening to them, and feel really hurt and annoyed. It is very important to stay tuned when someone is talking or else you lose out on information and good will.

13. Really listen:-

Listening is a great art and an essential tool for any great conversationalist. While this may seem paradoxical, most people feel that the good listeners are the good talkers. You need to nod along and convey that you are indeed listening by asking meaningful questions and expressing your interest. This is very vital.

14. Paraphrasing:-

This is a wonderful tool when you need to ensure that both parties are on the same page. Many times, we hear not what is being said, but what we want to hear. And sometimes we unnecessarily read between the lines. This will cause information to be conveyed incorrectly. When you hear something, always tell the speaker what you heard in your own words. This is called paraphrasing. Now the speaker will know you were listening and also get a chance to correct you if you got the wrong idea. Use this technique when you speak as well. Ask the listener to paraphrase your words - tell you what they heard - and it will go a long way in improving your communication skills.

15. Do not whisper:-

Whispering in public is considered very impolite and can easily alienate you from others. Always keep public conversations just that - public. Inside jokes and secrets won't make you any popular in a big group.

16. Watch your body language:-

Non-verbal cues are as important - if not more - as the spoken word. Develop an open, sincere, positive and trust worthy body language. Maintain good eye contact as you speak. Clenched fists and extreme gesticulations won't win people over to you. And remember that a good body language stems from a good intent - so you need to be genuinely honest, open and trustworthy.

17. Watch your breath:-

You may be a wonderful speaker and listener, but if you do not have fresh breath, you would notice a general thinning of population around you. So always watch your breath!

How to Break a BIOS Password----

Hello Friends, many of you must have faced the problem when you are locked out of the BIOS password. So, to overcome this problem I have a Tutorial for you, just read it out then solve the problem yourself:----

Steps To Be Followed:--
For Desktop PCs:--

1. Power off the computer and make sure that it is unplugged.
2. Open up your computer case. You need physical access to the motherboard to complete this procedure.
3.Find a circular, (mostly) silver metallic object on the motherboard. This is the CMOS battery.
4. CAREFULLY remove the CMOS battery, avoid touching it with your fingers, and leave it out for about 120 seconds. This will flush the CMOS memory which stores the BIOS password and all other configuration. (See Warnings)
5. Set the battery back into place and power on the computer.
6. The computer should then warn you that the CMOS configuration could not be found. You can either reconfigure it yourself or restore defaults. Restoring the default configuration should be fine.
7. You will notice that the BIOS password has been cleared and you can boot without it. You may reset the BIOS password to something else by going into the BIOS configuration and setting a new User Password (The Supervisor Password controls access to the BIOS, NOT the computer!)

For Laptops:--

1. Remember that laptops can be trickier, especially if it's a newer model. If it has a security chip on the motherboard forget about it. You either have to physically remove the chip or contact the mfg for the "master" password. If you can boot up off of a cd or floppy try any of these methods:
2. Create a Win98SE bootable media "or anything that lets you boot into MS-DOS" and boot off of it.
3. When the A:\> prompt appears type debug and press enter.
4. You will then only see a "-".
5. Type o 70 2E "include the spaces" and press Enter.
6. Type o 71 ff "include the spaces" and press Enter.
7. Type q and press Enter.
8. Here are a list of common mfg backdoor passwords:
* AWARD BIOS
o AWARD SW, AWARD_SW, Award SW, AWARD PW, _award, awkward, J64, j256, j262, j332, j322, 01322222, 589589, 589721, 595595, 598598, HLT, SER, SKY_FOX, aLLy, aLLY, Condo, CONCAT, TTPTHA, aPAf, HLT, KDD, ZBAAACA, ZAAADA, ZJAAADC, djonet, %øåñòü ïpîáåëîâ%, %äåâÿòü ïpîáåëîâ%
* AMI BIOS
o AMI, A.M.I., AMI SW, AMI_SW, BIOS, PASSWORD, HEWITT RAND, Oder
9. Other passwords you may try (for AMI/AWARD or other BIOSes) - LKWPETER, lkwpeter, BIOSTAR, biostar, BIOSSTAR, biosstar, ALFAROME, Syxz, Wodj gvs

Some Useful Tips:--

* Depending on the manufacturer of your motherboard, you may be able to use what it is called a "backdoor password" to bypass the password problem. Try looking at the external links for possible passwords.
* Remember that passwords are Case Sensitive. The last two passwords in the AWARD BIOS list are in Russian.
* Sometimes the bios reset jumper has a "handle" and is colored a bright color to make it easy to locate. Also, look in your case near the bottom. If it is a manufactured computer then it probably came with a little sticker with the jumpers and the location of the reset jumper.

Things To Be Taken Care Of--

* In rare cases, the battery may be soldered into the motherboard and very difficult to remove. If this is true, you may need to find a jumper near the battery that achieves the same result. If you don't know which jumper it is, you CAN test them all. Unplug (really unplug, not just power off) the computer, and start a methodical change in all the jumpers positions, change one, count to ten, change it back, move on the next. After completing the lot of them (on older motherboards this could take a while) plug the PS back in, and boot up. You may risk damaging your computer with this procedure if you are not careful.
* Some notebooks such as IBM's ThinkPad render useless when the BIOS password is being tried to reset.
* Don't just start pulling jumpers on the motherboard. Make sure you know where it was and in what position in case anything goes wrong put it back.
* If you turn your computer on and it makes strange noises / beeps, you should contact the vendor, manufacture, or a tech guy to fix it.

How to change a lost password in Windows XP----

Hello Friends, Most of the people often have this problem that they've forgotten their administrator or windows password, then what to do in that condition. So, to resolve this condition here is the solution for you, Just check it out----

Steps To Be Followed:--

  1. Before anything else, if you have lost the password of a regular user, ask the computer administrator. If the computer administrator isn't available at the time, you can do the next best thing. Note that you'll have to use the command window.
  2. If you CAN log on to another account, skip to step 4. If not, go to the next step.
  3. You have to reboot your computer. However, press F8 before it has completely booted, so another black screen shows up. In that black screen, use the arrows up and down to scroll options, the option you want to choose is: "Safe Mode with Command Prompt". Press enter to select that option. Hang in a second. Give it some time to boot; this can take longer than your usual boot-process. When it has booted, you will see the same black screen as in CMD. Go to step 5.
  4. If you can log on to another account, you should log in to that account and open the "START" menu. Now, click on "RUN", and type cmd. A black screen will pop up.
  5. In the command screen, you'll have to type "net user", followed by the account name that needs password recovery. followed by " *". Note the space between the username and the star. (e.g. "net user bob *")
  6. Type in your new password. (You will NOT see any characters) Press enter, and repeat the password.
  7. Your password should be changed. Note that if you repeated the passwords with errors it will still say "The command completed successfully". Therefore, if it did not work, try doing it again. If you used another account on your computer to do this, go to step 3 and try that method.

Some More Tips:--

  • A good thing to do is create a password reset disk. The Forgotten Password Wizard lets you create a password reset disk that you can use to recover your user account and personalized computer settings if you forget your password.
  • The steps to perform this task differ depending on whether your computer is a member of a network domain or is part of a workgroup (or is a stand-alone computer).
  • If your computer is on a domain
    • 1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Security dialog box.
    • 2. Click Change Password.
    • 3. Click Backup to open the Forgotten Password Wizard.
    • 4. Click Next and then follow the instructions as they appear on the screen.
  • If you are not on a domain but have a computer administrator account
    • 1. Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
    • 2. Click your account name.
    • 3. Under Related Tasks located on the left side of the window, click Prevent a forgotten password.
    • 4. In the Forgotten Password Wizard, follow the instructions as they appear on the screen.
  • If you are not on a domain but have a limited account
    • 1. Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
    • 2. Under Related Tasks located on the left side of the window, click Prevent a forgotten password.
    • 3. In the Forgotten Password Wizard, follow the instructions as they appear on the screen.
  • Note: To open User Accounts, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click User Accounts.

Warnings:--

  • Do not use this for illegal purposes!

How To Prepare Resume--TUTORIAL 5----

In this tutorial I'll tell you that what forms you should adopt while preparing a resume. There are commonly three type of forms used these days:
  • Traditional Print Resume.
  • Scannable Print Resume.
  • Electronic Resume.
1.Traditional Print Resume: Designed for quick reading, the print resume lists or arrange the facts i.e. generally the background information pertaining to various aspects of of a person's existence in the best possible manner. Though there are different ways of organizing these contents or information, yet the standard units of information or the contents remain the same in all i.e. Name & address, Career objective, Education, Work experience, Activities, Achievements & Awards, Personal Profile & References.

How to make a print resume better:
  • Use clean typeface on high-grade, letter size bond paper. The paper may be white or may have some other light shade.
  • Employ a simple & direct style.
  • Use short & crisp phrases(instead of complete sentences)
  • Begin the phrases with impressive action verbs instead of beginning with personal pronouns.
  • Be consistent in the choice of headings i.e. employ headings with the same grammatical form throughout.
  • Make an attempt to limit the resume to one page only, yet if the accurate portrayal of one's achievements require more space one should not hesitate to meet the requirements.
2.Scannable Print Resume: Bridging the print to digital gap, this resume is a recent addition in the job-market. This resume can be scanned into(an electronic) database & it can be retrieved when a position is to be filled. Though it conveys the same information as the simple print resume did, yet the format & style should be , made computer friendly. And an attempt should be made to give it a presentable look. Thus do the following:
  • Include keywords i.e. nouns etc. for the precise description of skills & accomplishments.
  • Use(preferably)ASCII format, a common plain text language that any scanner can interpret.
  • Employ proper font(i.e. 10 to 14 points) in order to ensure readability. Besides take care not to include italics, underlinings & graphics etc.
  • Try to use industry-specific terminology.
Finally, any of the available channels i.e Fax, mail or e-mail may be employed as per the requirements though e-mail is the best option.

3.Electronic Resume: It includes:
  • Low-end plain text files.
  • Formatted word processor files.
  • Multimedia documents & word pages.
Though the details included in this form of the resume are quite same as that of the print resume, yet the following points must be considered:
  • The contact information should contain only email address, everything else should be deleted.
  • The resume must be dated(without fail).

So Friends this ends my post on 'How to prepare resume' Just read these tutorials & these will certainly give you the better results. GOOD LUCK to all of you friends & keep supporting me.

How To Prepare Resume--TUTORIAL 3----

In the previous post I told you about the contents to be included in a resume. In this section I'll tell you about the patterns of resumes.

(b) The Organizational Pattern(layout) To Be Employed:
  • Chronological Resume.
  • Functional Resume.
  • Combination Resume.
1.The Chronological Resume: Preferred by most of the employers, the chronological approach is the most common way to organize a resume. It is a chronological or historical summary of one's work experience & education. This approach is especially suitable in case one has a strong background in employment & more especially if the present job demands an experienced hand, because it is the work experience section that dominates here. Placed immediately below the name & address & the objective, it enjoys the most prominent position. This section should be so organized as to provide a quick grasp of the following information:
  • the places at which the candidate has worked.
  • the duration of his/her stay in that organization.
  • the various capacities in which he/she has served.
However, in case the candidate is a fresher in the job market, he/she can begin with his/her academic background instead of the work experience section.

2.The Functional Resume: Focusing on one's areas of competence & ability i.e. one's skills & accomplishments, this pattern relegates the sections depicting academics & work experience to a subordinate place. It is particularly useful for the persons who are just new entrants to the job market or (those) who have a little continuous job experience, as it focuses the individual areas of competence & thus every person gets highlighted in his/her unique way. Moreover, irrespective to the fact where one has worked & for how long, the relevant information can be presented in whatever way one wants to do this & at the same time the irrelevant information can be de-emphasized as well.
Besides this pattern saves the botheration on the part of the employers who can have the relevant information just by having quick glances. However, this resume is not so much relied upon as the one making use of it are thought to be hiding some weakness of theirs.

3. The Combination Resume: Combining the best features of both the chronological & functional approaches, a combination resume is the most comprehensive. Still it is in rare usage because it generally tends to be unnecessarily long & sometimes even repetitious when the same information i.e. usually skills & accomplishments are included both in the chronological & functional sections.

(!!!! In the next post I'll Give you one example each of the above patterns!!!!)

How To Prepare Resume--TUTORIAL 2----

Hello Friends, In My previous post I've told you about how to plan & Construct a Resume. Now under the point " Constructing a Resume" Further 3 points you have to remember. In this section i will tell you about the first point only . Rest i will discuss in my next posts. The first point is:----

(a) The possible contents to be included in a 'RESUME':
1.Heading/Name and address or contact information:

The opening section tells the reader where the person can be contacted. It includes the following:
  • Name of the applicant.
  • Address.
  • Telephone number.
  • E-mail address or URL(if any).
  • Fax number(if any).
  • Web page address(if any).
In case one wants to include both the addresses i.e. the permanent address & the current one, then the permanent address should be written in the right-hand column & the current address in the left-hand column. However, if only permanent address is to be mentioned , then it is centered at the top of the page beneath the name.

2.Objective/Job Objective/Career Objective/Summary of Qualifications:
There has been a great disagreement among the experts regarding the inclusion of a statement of objective. Some believe that as the details provided in the resume greatly reflects a person's objective, there is no need to make a separate mention of it. Moreover, the second point raised in support of its non-inclusion is that the statement of objective has a tendency to limit the application to a single position/job.
But the supporters(of the 'Career Objective") believe that its inclusion saves the prospective employer from the unnecessary botheration as the statement of objectives provides ease to the employer in allocating job positions to their applicants according to their area of interest.
Thus if one decides to include such a statement, it should be appropriately formulated. A strong, concise & convincing single sentence statement should be used. For e.g.
CAREER OBJECTIVE: To become a research scholar in the area of Corporate Communication with a Multinational Company, which requires skills in media planning.
However, it is preferable to have different carefully devised statements for different job applications.

3.Education:
It is likely to be the strongest selling point for a fresher who has just entered the job market after the completion of his academic career. This section demands the presentation of one's educational background in great depth, choosing & highlighting the entire relevant information. This section can be given heading such as 'Education' or 'Academic Preparation'. This section generally includes the following:
  • The name & location of the institution/s attended, starting with the most recent, the term of one's enrolment(in months & years), major & minor areas of study & the degrees received.
  • A list of specific courses done, if any that has uniquely prepared one for the job under consideration.
  • The off-campus training sponsored by business or government(if any).
  • Seminars & workshops attended.
  • Grade Point Average(GPA), if it is high. However, in case of its inclusion, one should mention the scale, especially if a five point scale is used instead of a four point scale.
However, in case of an experienced hand, the work experience obviously becomes one's strongest qualification & then the details of this section can be reduced.

4.Work Experience:
In this section, the information should be included & presented in a way that helps the prospective employer/s in understanding the worth of the individual seeking a particular job. The process of job-listing should be done in reverse chronological order(i.e. putting the present or the most recent one first). The things generally included in the section are:
  • Seminars & Workshops attended.
  • Name & address of the company or firm. Here also include any part time or intern position/s.
  • The duration or the time-period for which one worked in a particular organization or firm.
  • The job titles i.e. in what capacities was the individual working in the companies or firms.
  • Some special achievement/s, if any.
  • An extraordinary way of handling the responsibility.
  • Language & Computer skills,if any.
  • Travel experience,if any.
5.Activities,Achievements & Awards:
This section shows the outstanding status of the applicant concerned i.e. how he has participated & excelled in various activities. This section includes the whole bulk of information regarding the activities & skills like the following:
  • Travel experience ,if any.
  • Knowledge of & fluency in languages.
  • Participation in various academic & cultural contests, athletics & sports, creative projects & community service activities.
  • Professional achievements, various offices held in various academic & professional institutions.
  • Special certificates, awards, scholarships, academic honours conferred upon the individual.
Besides, information regarding the seminars & workshops attended can also be included here.

6.Personal Data:
As civil rights laws clearly prohibit discrimination in hiring on the basis of race, age, religion, sex, marital status or national origin, the inclusion of this section is entirely optional element now-a-days. Yet as it depicts the personality traits of an individual, there is a tendency to include the relevant information i.e. the information important from the job' point of view.
However, one should be careful in the presentation of this information. Nothing of the sort that is likely to be considered negative or is likely to cause trouble should be included. Thus generally the details like race, religion, health, hobbies & physical skills like age, sex & marital status should be omitted, though some are of the view that some of these, if any enhance the job prospects, must be included.

7.References:
The employers now-a-days have a tendency to ask for a list of references either prior to or just after an interview. However, there has been a controversy on the issue whether to list references on the resume or to make a separate list.
However, the general trend is to wing up the things by adding, at the end of the resume, the phrase " references available on request", as the last statement. This way a separate list known as 'reference sheet' can be produced when asked. However, in case the situation demands, this section can also be made a part of the resume itself.

8.Reference sheet:
The reference sheet can be given the heading 'References for name of the concerned candidate'. The style of the main heading & the type-size should match with that used in the resume. below the main heading will follow the list of actual references. Here the care should be taken to arrange them in a proper way i.e. beginning with the strongest one, as per the requirements of the job.
However, the following should be considered while framing references:
  • An appropriate number of references should be included. The proper range varies from 3-5 references with specific job titles & complete addresses along with other markers of contact like telephone number, fax, email etc.
  • Instead of one's relatives, individuals like teachers, professors & former employers etc. should be chosen for the purpose.
  • The permission of the individual(whose name is being used as a reference) should be sought.

How TO Prepare Resume--TUTORIAL 1----

A Resume is a summary of One's background in terms of one's education, personal details, skills & special traits, employment background(if any), achievements & the intended career path. A form of advertisement, it aims at stimulating an employer's interest in the applicant. A successful resume convinces the prospective employer of the applicant's worth & thus he feels inspired to call the person concerned for an interview.

The preparation of the resume will include the following steps:
1. Planning the resume.
2. Constructing the resume.
3. Completing the resume.

A Discussion is as follows:----
(1)PLANNING THE RESUME:
Planning will predominantly involve two things:
  • Analyzing the purpose: Keeping in view the specific purpose of the document, every bit of pertinent personal history should be gathered. The exactness & minuteness of presentation will provide authenticity to the document.
  • Analyzing the prospective reader: Besides the resume should be prepared from the employer's perspective. Choose & present the details according to the requirementsof the prospective employer. In other words , adopt the 'you' attitude.
A straight-forward manner may be employed to communicate one's potentials to the potential employer.

Besides though one can have several resumes, each particularly constructed for the different type of position or company or an employer, it is always advisable & better to construct a flexible resume that can be customized for various situations & employers in order to avoid any unnecessary botheration.

(2) CONSTRUCTING THE RESUME:
This will involve making a decision regarding the following:

(a) The possible contents to be included:

(b) The organizational pattern(Layout) to be employed:
  • Chronological Resume.
  • Functional Resume.
  • Combination Resume.
(c) The form to be adopted:
  • Traditional print resume.
  • Scannable print resume.
  • Electronic resume.
(ITS DETAILED DISCUSSION WOULD BE GIVEN IN MY NEXT POST.... VERY SOON.....)

(3) COMPLETING THE RESUME:
It involves:
(a) Revision/Proofreading: It should be done considering various facts of the preparation process i.e.
  • Length
  • Language
  • Appearance
  • Authenticity
(b)Length: Check the document's length. It should be concise but complete. It should have proper length i.e. neither too long to frustrate the prospective employer or the reader nor too short to be lacking in the necessary details.

(c)Language: Analyze language in terms of the words used. Try to include the crisp & catchy words. Besides check the language so as to make the text an accurate document in every respect i.e. grammar, vocabulary & spellings etc.

(d)Appearance: Try to provide a distinct appearance to the document by employing a proper font, margins, subdivisions, indentations etc. & choosing to present data in rows & columns(if feasible & required).

(e)Authenticity: Try to add the proper authentic details, without any exaggerations. Always be honest & to-the-point.
